A high base photochromic medical filter is used in the Rx-able clip-on over the distance Rx which stops the filter clip-on le (527VT) from rubbing the front surface of the Rx lens. |

The lens on the right is a bifocal spliced with a 20Δ prism, base out, for hemianopic field enhancement. The lens on the left is a single vision at distance spliced with a “Mins” (frosted lens) at near. Mins lens at near allows patient to read monocularly as she cannot fuse near point images binocularly. The Mins does not appear frosted to the casual observer. |
